What is anxiety? Anxiety is a normal and mostly healthy emotion. As a result of experiencing disproportionate levels of anxiety, then it can become a disorder.
There are several types of anxiety and is experienced in different ways by different people. According to nimh.nih.gov; there are different types of anxiety. These include:
- Generalized Anxiety Disorder
- Panic Disorder
- Social Anxiety Disorder
- Specific Phobias / Agoria Phobias
- Separation Anxiety Disorder
- Obsessive Compulsive Disorder
- Post Traumatic Stress Disorder

Feelings of anxiety can result in various different situations usually from some big event such as for example, a college exam, business presentation, or even a meeting with the boss.
